1983 17' bowrider, trailer, 120 hp mercruiser I/0. I have not tried to start this in 3 years and there are some soft spots in the floor. I assume replacing the plywood under the carpet should do the trick. The outdrive was rebuilt 5 years ago (it only had 2 seasons of use). Almost exclusively used in fresh water. Hull and seats are in very good condition. The inside needs some work to get it pretty. Also, the engine cover should be rebuilt. I would consider this a project boat, thats why I am selling it so cheap. My wife is making me get rid of it (she wants a bigger boat). The gavlanized trailer had the axle replaced about 7 or 8 years ago and could use a repaint. Accepting any reasonable offer.

Ready for the water is this clean 1986 Bayliner Ciera model 2450. It is basically 24 feet long with the swim platform. My family has enjoyed this boat for several seasons but I no longer have a vehicle big enough to tow it and I have another boat project in full swing, so it is time to go. Still enough warm weather to enjoy the water!

Every boat has a story. Here it is: I purchased this boat from a marina as they had taken title due to non-payment. The lower outdrive had been rebuilt for the original owner, who passed away before paying. His widow attempted to sell without success and the boat went to the marina in lieu of payment. There it sat until I bought her. I was surprised it had been overlooked; I passed it over myself several times in my search before I finally looked at it. When I did, I snatched it up as all it just needed was some TLC. We have taken it up and down the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound to Watch Hill.

The original exterior seating was replaced with a storage box/seat on the starboard side and new cushions. The storage box is made of Starboard poly marine lumber and easily holds an extra anchor and line. A new swim platform was made from the same material. The front hatch was replaced with a Bowmar hatch and I neatly painted some non-skid around it. I added a macerating toilet/head with new holding tank, sani-hoses (the good non-odor grade), and pump out fitting. The starboard exhaust riser and hose was replaced due to poor circulation. The forward windows next to the hatch were resealed using automotive windshield sealant and exterior boat caulk.

The V-berth area can be changed into a dining table but we always left it as a bunk for the kids. Plenty of room to eat above decks. The aft berth area holds a queen bed and is great for mom and dad. Galley has a new Whale Gusher hand pump faucet and there is an ice chest type refrigerator. We had no problem overnighting and having breakfast with our choice of views!

Comes with an Eagle depth & fish finder, a VHF marine radio, one anchor, dock lines and a 2001 Tennessee Trailer. This is a galvanized bunk trailer in very nice condition. There is one dent on the left wheel well that was there when I bought it; does not affect use of the trailer. Based on what the marina owner said and my usage, I am confident in estimating less than 1,000 hours on the reliable Volvo-Penta engine.

Everything on the boat and trailer works. 2 sets of keys. All paper work is in order. The hull has never been fixed or repaired for any reason and 2004 is the first year tracker has gone rivetless, including the transom area. Used much of the summers on a restricted lake where the outboard can not be used, and fishing night time. Outboard has not been used very often.

This setup is honestly water ready and is still in use, just alot less than previous years.
