Born in Oklahoma and moved to Colorado to practice law.
Educated at Harvard and received law degree from University of Colorado. While attending Harvard drew cartoon for the Harvard Lampoon and cast some experimental bronzes. Gradually leaving his law practice,he set up a foundry in Breckenridge, CO.
His subjects were mostly Western wildlife and some Native Americans and cowboys. One of his largest commissions was a 100 lb. grizzly bear presented to President Carter.
