This vintage rug (most likely an Isfahan, possibly a Yazd) is as gorgeous as it is massive. It measures 9 feet 7.5 inches wide and 15 feet, 5 inches long. The colors are beautiful - a pale green with shades of pink, blue, and beige, done in the traditional Persian style of floral details amid graceful flourishes and a center medallion.

At some point in its long history (c1900-1930) at some point there must have been large windows letting in sunlight as there are clearly delineated areas where the colors are lighter, as can be seen in the photos. However, this does not in any way detract from the overall beauty of this rug. Perfect for a large living room or dining room!
