This is a lightweight sheet metal display, correct in size and scale. It is mounted on a custom made steel base, and is easily moved, as it was designed to be shipped to international trade shows. It has forklift pockets, tie down points, and castering wheels. It features basic internal components, such as the fan stage, and the turbine stage, mounted on a shaft with an electric motor that allows it to slowly rotate while on display. The bullet nose is off, but we have it in storage. It is about 8' wide, and about 14' long, and weighs about 6,000 pounds. It is easily moved with a forklift, and a standard drop deck roll off car carrier truck. This is an ideal display for anyone involved in Aerospace, as it can be used in a parade, placed out front of a business for special events and conventions and shows. It was custom fabricated for a major engine manufacturer and was featured at the Farnborough Airshow in the late 90s,so it is the real deal. Original cost to fabricate, adjusted for inflation, was over $100,000.00 USD.
