This is a really nice Bauscher Weiden Pan Am Pioneer Flights 8 1/2 inch collector plate by artist Theodore Giavis. Plate 4-“Tin-Goose over the Mayan ruins. Pan Am’s Ford Tri-Motor inaugurated air service between the United States and Central America in September 1929. Dubbed the “Tin Goose” the Ford Tri-Motor was also used by Pan Am in Alaska. Made in Bavaria, West Germany. $12 cash.
