Under the leadership of the Senior Technicians, the Technician is responsible for providing on site end-user support services to Tribal & the Gaming Resorts Casino facilities, by performing first level IT equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Provides solutions to operational problems of Computer Hardware & Software, Wired & Wireless Data and Voice Communications to PBX, Router, and Specialized Casino Gaming & Resorts Hospitality Architecture, by utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques. Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows & Apple Operating Systems and Software Packages that include specialty software for Gaming, Hotel, Finance and HR systems. Must be familiar with troubleshooting a variety of hardware issues including, but not limited to; Micros, IBM Registers, serial and IP printers, Javelin PCs. The employee must adapt to the Casinos Customs & Specialized Systems, Equipment, and tools. A+, MCSE Certification is preferred. Associates degree in Computer Science or three years of experience as a Technician in a similar IT environment is required. Must possess strong work ethic and ability to work as a Team in a fast-paced environment. Must possess knowledge of Desktop and Notebook Computer Architecture and IT peripherals. Analog, Digital, VOIP & Wireless Voice Data Telecommunications experience is required. Must pass the MIS Field Services Technician examination by getting a minimum of 70%. Must be able to work any shift, weekends and holidays.
