Used Ornate Brass Bed Headboard and Footboard - $25

This listing is for a used, ornate, real brass bed headboard and footboard. I do not know how old these are. Both parts have what appear to be white porcelain accents. The bottom of the legs apparently has a steel sleeve inserted inside the brass outer tube for added strength in this area. This is the area where you would attach the rest of the frame. Please note that I do not have any of the frame parts only the stated headboard and footboard.
Both sections are 42 inches wide. The headboard is 50 inches tall and the footboard is 37 inches tall.
Condition: While these are used they have not been abused. The brass has an overall dark patina on most of its surface. There are marks, stains, scratches, small dings etc, that is typical for a used piece of furniture such as this. There are a few minor spots of corrosion present. Obviously from the photos you can tell that I have not cleaned or polished these. I did not want to remove the patina in case the buyer wanted it left that way.
If someone took the time to clean and polish this it would look quite stunning. The bottom of the legs has predrilled holes in them for the attachment of a frame. These holes go through the brass outer section and through the steel insert. You could buy frame rails made out of metal or make the frame rails yourself out of wood. If you did not want to use these for a bed they would look great in a garden as a gate or lawn ornament.
I hope somebody out there could use these. With a little TLC they could be turned into quite a showpiece. Thank you and God bless!
