This is the famous Rusty Dream! It started it's life as a 1966 Honda CA 77, also known as the 305 Dream. This bike has patina throughout, but there isn't any rot, just rust and wear. It has modern tires, which make it a really nice riding bike. It runs, drives and stops. It's not the quietest bike on the street, but why would you want a quiet bike that looks like this?
The bags are vintage plastic and the right bag has a fiberglass repair on the lid. The left bag has no latch. They were installed using assorted pieces without adding any holes to the bike or the bags. The lights are not hooked up.
There is no solenoid for the electric start and maybe some wires missing for that. The headlight is kind of a funky bulb system in it now. There is no horn, I never really got around to trying to hook one up on it. New points were put in and the old points are dangling -- this does add to the "look". The tank has a welded-in patch on the bottom, which replaced the fiberglass patch that was on it when I got it.
Great attention getter and a real Rat Bike. It could be yours for only $1,600. We would be interested in trading for an interesting older bike(s) (75 or older). It comes with a CT bill of sale.
