Zildjian hi hat drum set pair at weights of 1245 / 1265 gm. Top rivet cymbal is a 1950's small stamp while the bottom is a 1960's stamp. The 8 rivets on this cymbal only work well in the top position. So hence a heavier bottom to match. Very dry and dark pair with a bit of sizzle. Should be very cutting and loud when you get into them. Sort of like the hard hitting Zildjian "new beats" where you average out the high and low ends for a matched pair. These sort of remind me of a pair of Meinl Byzance Sand hats I once tried out....dark, dry, nasty.
One small flea bite per cymbal (see photos). A couple old band aid shadows on the rivet cymbal bottom. Also note that the bell hole ring suggesting this was probably a hand or concert band cymbal at one time. The rivets are very old and very heavy. They don't vibrate as freely as most do...clamping the vibrations a bit. That only contributes to an even darker, dryer sound with minimal wash. You could always cut them off and install lighter rivets. Specialty set of "beast" hi hats. But they would still work for an all around sound for most people.......$100.
