NOTE: Price has been reduced to $1600. Selling a very rare Beauty – a late 1960 Leslie Model 45. The Cabinet itself is maybe a 9.8+ out of 10 or even a little better. With much surprise, it had caked on heavy dirt when found but that ended up being a blessing. Not actually used for a very long time. It still has in perfect condition after being cleaned a Jensen V21 Treble Driver and Jensen Alnico Magnet P15LL Woofer with original cloth belts. For some reason the amp had some issues – a blown output Transformer. Joe Durso of Dursonix replaced the output Transformer and did a complete Cap and Resistor upgrade. The original USA Tung-Sol 6550 Tubes tested very high so they are retained and sound amazing . Joe Durso rebuilt the lower single speed motor operate in the opposite direction of the Horn Motor for a true Doppler Effect in this beautiful Leslie Speaker. As a single speed Leslie speaker this would be perfect for a Jazz player connected to a vintage A100 Series Hammond or even a new clone Wheel Organ with the correct preamp. This Leslie Speaker is ready to be demonstrated with a clonewheel organ. Or a prospective buyer is encouraged to bring his or her own Clonewheel Organ. Brand new upgraded Hamptone Two Speed Converter can be installed for $350. A rebuilt Vintage 147 type Floor Preamp is available for $350 and finally, a new rebuilt 15' 6 pin Leslie Cable is available for $200. This Leslie 45 is in near new condition and as perfect as a 66 year old Leslie Speaker can get. The Prices is no $1600. It is now located in New London CT.
