This is the Centennial Limited Edition Marine Band Hohner harmonica model # 1896. It was introduced in 1996 to mark the 100th anniversary of the introduction of Hohner's popular Marine Band harmonica. Made in Germany. It is identical to the standard Marine Band first introduced in 1896, except that it's gold plated and came in a special box commemorative box. This item comes with the original black plastic box with gold and red photo imprint on the top, and verbiage "Limited Edition 1896 --1996" on the front side. A sticker on the bottom. A sticker on the bottom of the box includes the model #, description, UPC code and manufacturer's info for authenticity. This is a 10-hole diatronic harmonica in the key of C, which is stamped on the side of the instrument on also on the side of the case. In excellent condition, no scratches or corrosion. Case is also pristine. A great item for collector's and musicians. Case Measures: 4 ½" L x 1 ¾" W x 1 ½" H. Harmonica Measures: 4" L x ¾" W x 1" H.
